Vilnius University Chamber Orchestra in collaboration with Vilnius City Hall invites you to a chamber music concert "For Ukraine". The concert will be held on the 25th of October, at 7PM in Vilnius City Hall, Didžioji g. 31, Vilnius.
This concert is an initiative to support Ukraine - a country which is currently fighting for freedom. Hopefully, by language of music it will be possible to battle evil and express the support for the whole Ukrainian nation, which bravely fights.
VU Chamber Orchestra concert is free and before as well as during the performance the audience will be able to learn about support organizations for Ukraine and possibilities to donate.
The program of the concert "For Ukraine" incorporates light, inspiring and hopeful chamber music compositions. The audience will be able to listen to pieces from C. P. Stamitz, C. Nielsen, O. Respighi and others.
VU Chamber Orchestras will perform together with soloists Liucija Kudžmaitė (flute) and Živilė Survilaitė (organ).
The artistic director and conductor of VU Chamber Orchestra is Modestas Jankūnas.
