Welcome to the pilot version of a course developed by international partners as part of the CAMINO project. We invite you to register and test the materials, helping us create a high-quality course tailored to your needs. The course includes an introductory module and four additional modules, which can be studied independently. You can choose to test Module 1 along with any other module or complete the entire course. Each module offers 6 hours of material. Upon completing a module or the full course, you will receive a corresponding certificate.

Course overview

This comprehensive 30-hour course is designed to enhance intercultural competence, foster empathy, and promote inclusivity, with a specific focus on the Central and Eastern European (CEE) context. The course integrates theoretical insights, practical skills, and real-world applications to prepare participants for diverse career paths in education and business. Through engaging modules and dynamic learning materials, participants will gain tools to navigate multicultural environments effectively.

Course objectives

  • Promote empathy and inclusivity: Foster a mindset of respect and collaboration across cultural boundaries.

Theoretical Foundations

The course builds on key concepts of:

  • Cultural awareness: Understanding culture as a multifaceted and dynamic construct.
  • Effective communication: Learning strategies for clear and respectful interactions.
  • Cross-cultural collaboration: Addressing stereotypes and promoting diversity and inclusion.
Course Format and Adaptability
  • Structure: 5 modules, each 6 hours (total: 30 hours), with additional resources for independent study.
  • Flexibility: Can be offered as a basic e-learning course for students (30 hours/2 ECTS), blended learning, or supplemental material for other courses.
  • Availability: Hosted on partners’ websites and the CAMINO platform, accessible to students and professionals interested in intercultural studies.
